Boat Captains

Being a Boat Captain for the Milton High School Fishing Club is more than just providing a boat for a tournament—it’s an opportunity to mentor, encourage, and make a lasting impact on our youth anglers. Boat Captains play an essential role in helping our student anglers safely compete in fishing tournaments by providing transportation on the water, sharing their knowledge and experience, and offering guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the competition. Whether you’re an experienced tournament angler or simply someone who loves fishing and wants to give back, your time and dedication help our students build confidence, develop their fishing skills, practice good sportsmanship, and create memories that will last a lifetime. To show our appreciation, the Milton High School Fishing Club Booster Club reimburses Boat Captains for both truck and boat fuel used on the day of competition. Your willingness to volunteer helps make these incredible opportunities possible for our young anglers. If you’re interested in becoming a Boat Captain and helping shape the next generation of anglers, please contact Coach Doug Jones for more information. Together, we can make a difference—one cast at a time!
